DSBEniX News3/13/2012 That is the question that DSBEniX has ask its self. As production moves forward with our graphic novels and one shot’s, its wanting to take all elements and combined them to achieve a truly moving read. And wanting to combine both visual and verbal aspects of storytelling to make the reader believe they are inside the world, the characters, lands and moment of the fable. Many of the inspirations for the way to tell a story come from the many great writers and directors who have influenced the genre’s of Videogames, Anime, Chinese Graphic Novels and many masterful literary works. Trying to balance a blend of story for a audience is very difficult, not every one see’s from the same point of view. Although if you can get a favorable response from both sides, that maybe a road to continue to explore and hope that your action and success meet and streamline somewhere in the process. As of now, one of the studios biggest goals is to create a Graphic Novel that reads as a Video Game Narrative, but is visually presented as a Fantasy Opera. Also wanting to have a in depth and rich visual history, of this world and truly immerse your self init. If we can create a book that reads like a Fantasy RPG/Action Adventure/ MMORPG than that’s what we want. Can the reader feel the emotions, and sense the words and the weight they carry? Many titles such as the Final Fantasy series, Gears of War, Shenmue, Kingdom Under Fire, Heavy Rain, Are just among the few that really pull you inn, not just from a visual standpoint, but a compelling story that is very carefully woven together. Joseph Campbell, American mythologist, writer and lecturer and author of The Hero with a Thousand Faces was a great inspiration for Famed Director George Lucas (Star Wars). Its hoping to achieve this effect in our own way and bring readers to a new realm of wonder and adventure.
